See Cabinet Member Decisions
Individual Cabinet Members are authorised to take Executive decisions, as specifically delegated by Cabinet. These decisions must be made in line with the overall policies, priorities and budget set by full Council and the rules of the Constitution.
These decisions cannot be implemented for five working days, as non-executive members (those that are not in the Cabinet) can challenge the decisions during this time if they believe that the right process has not been followed in making the decision. If the decision is not challenged after five working days it can be implemented.
All of the Cabinet Member decision’s can be seen here and in the Councillor Information Bulletin. This is published every Friday.
