Children and Education

We are responsible for the wellbeing of children in Bournemouth. We give care to children in need. Our Children’s Social Care team makes sure that every child has a safe and loving home. We provide education for both adults and children.


We’re responsible for applications into schools in Bournemouth. You can apply for a school place online.


Our Adoption Services Team finds homes for children who can’t live with their birth families and helps families wanting to adopt.
